Prince William Sound Regional Citizens’ Advisory Council Regional Stakeholder Committee Web Resources

The Prince William Sound Regional Citizens’ Advisory Council (PWSRCAC) contracted Nuka Research to develop an easy-to-navigate resource website that highlights the best information available for how a Regional Stakeholder Committee (RSC) might work and what a member of the RSC may need to be completely prepared for oil spill response emergencies. The RSC is a group of individuals with the ability to contribute their local knowledge to agencies that manage oil spill response in Alaska, and identify local resources that could be useful to a response (i.e. sensitive resources, food security concerns, etc.). Consistent with Alaska’s oil spill response plans, this project was built based on past exercise reports, suggestions, and observations provided by PWSRCAC staff, along with Nuka Research’s own experiences with past oil spills.
