After UMass, Sam spent several years living in San Diego, California, and Sag Harbor, New York, where he taught and coached high schoolers and spent time as a caterer, restaurant server, and bartender. Sam grew up in Barnstable, MA. In his free time, he enjoys watching Boston Celtics games, golfing, kayaking, and spending time at the beach with friends and family.
